Puppy Bait and Switch

Last night I played a little trick on Boris. As usual, we went to bed with him in the crate next to the sofa and me sleeping on the sofa. Once he settled down, I quietly snuck out of the room and upstairs to my own bed. And... it worked! He slept through the night without crying.

I still got up extra early (5:00 am) to allow him a potty break, since I still think his retention cabability is borderline. But we are making progress.
