The war on critters has begun....As idyllic as is sounds, the local wildlife is really starting to annoy to me a little. The squirrels are chewing up the tree branches and some of my plants. Plus, lots of animal crap showing up around and on the deck. Not to mention all kinds of growling and screeching late at night when the critters come out to feed. I think our little creek area is now over populated, so its time to thin the herds.
Pierre brought his trusty "Red Ryder Carbine Action" BB rifle and a squirrel trap. I borrowed a larger "raccoon trap" from my next door neighbor.
Here are the stats so far:
Squirrels:
7 hits, 4 confirmed kills
- Pierre has 2 hits, 1 kill(single shot)
- I have 5 hits, 3 kills (all took multiple shots)
Raccoons:
2 captured and relocated
Rats:
0
Birds:
1 caught (in squirrel trap) and released
