A couple of weeks ago, I noticed that the little wine cooler in the bar was making a clicking sound every 5-10 minutes. Then I noticed that the temperature was not properly maintained. So, I call out an applicane guy to check it out.
The guy comes and fixes the problem in 10 minutes. He knew right away what the problem was and had the part in hand. The compressor "starter" (an electronic part) had gone bad and needed replacement.
The bill was $282! Yikes! The whole friggin frig only cost (the previous owner) $650 3 years ago (I found a receipt).
Well, at least my wine is cool again!
