This year I decided that I really needed to bite the bullet and get the house (exterior) painted - completely!
The main reason is that, over the last year, I have discovered many spots in the woodwork that were peeling or just plain rotting.
After getting 3 quotes, I selected a painter and they started today.
Quote price: $3000, for 2 coats of 25 yr paint, includes all cleaning and prep work.
Not included: any wood replacement (I am guessing that will be at least $1000 more).
